The penultimate day of the 2025 Montana’s Brier is here and it features a pair of top-notch curling matches between some of the best rinks in the world.

The day will start with an afternoon draw between Team Jacobs of Alberta and Team Manitoba-Carruthers.

Both teams won their elimination matches on Friday and a win today would place the victorious rink in Sunday’s semifinal game, while the losing team will be sent home.

Team Carruthers or Jacobs, whoever wins this afternoon, will face either Team Canada or Team Manitoba-Dunstone in the semifinal.

That depends on who wins tonight, as the winning rink will get a bit of a rest and not play their next game until Sunday’s finale and the loser will have to play in Sunday's semifinal.

The pressure is on for Brad Gushue, Mark Nichols and Geoff Walker as the trio attempts to win a record-breaking seventh Brier title.

For the other skips left in the field, Matt Dunstone is looking to get over the hump and win his first Brier after falling short to Gushue’s rink in 2022, Carruthers is looking to win his first Brier as a skip after he previously won in 2011 as part of Jeff Stoughton’s rink, and Jacobs' sole Brier win came in 2013 when he skipped Northern Ontario to a championship.

The afternoon draw is set for 12:30 pm and the evening draw is scheduled for 6:30 pm.
