BC’s Dine Around event, which normally happens in January, is kicking off a revamped dining series.
The BC Restaurant and Foodservice Association (BCRFC) says Dine Around Happy Hour runs from Sept. 15–20 and will give foodies and other culinary enthusiasts a chance to explore a whole array of happy hour offerings at participating restaurants.
Last year, the event saw around 70 restaurants in the Interior put on three-course lunches and dinners with select beer and wine pairings.
The Dine Around Series will showcase the “vibrant and diverse restaurant scene in BC,” says the BCRFC.
Over the next few months, people across the province can partake in several fun events while supporting their local restaurant and business owners.
The next set of events includes:
Dine Around Brunch from Nov. 2-12
Dine Around Lunch and Dinner from Jan. 17-Feb. 11
Dine Around Patios in May 25-June 9
Ian Tostenson, CEO/President at BCRFA, says the events are meant to give residents and visitors a chance to experience all the flavours and hospitality that BC restaurants offer.
“We're excited to expand our traditional January Dine Around program with a new four part series and are kicking things off with Dine Around Happy Hour, where patrons can indulge in specially curated menus and drinks at their favourite local spots,” Tostenson says.
