UPDATE: Missing South Okanagan man found

(UDPATE: Dec. 2 @ 9:05 am) - Martin Briere has been found safe and sound.

The 45-year-old from Keremeos was reported missing last week after his family and friends hadn't seen him since Nov. 24, 2019.

Police haven't released any details on where Briere was found, but thanked the public for their assistance in locating him.

(Original story: Nov. 27 @ 6:15 pm) - The Keremeos RCMP are requesting the public’s help in locating missing person Martin Briere who has not been seen since Nov. 24, 2019.

According to police, it is possible Briere has left the Keremeos area and may be travelling to the Sunshine Coast or Vancouver Island in his black 2000 Suzuki Grand Vitara with British Columbia licence plate JS7 99M.

The missing man may also have his large Newfoundland / Mastiff cross dog with him.

Briere, 45-years-old, is described as:

  • Caucasian male
  • 5 ft 9 in
  • 160 lbs
  • Green eyes
  • Brown and grey hair
  • Strong french accent

Police say that they are concerned for Briere's wellbeing.
