KF Aerospace has announced a large career fair scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 26.
The open house will take place at KF Aerospace’s West Hangar at 5650 Aerospace Dr. from 4 to 7 pm.
Job seekers will be offered an inside look at the company’s skilled trades and entry-level positions that welcomes applicants of all backgrounds.
“For our entry level roles we provide on-the-job training that allows you to work towards a certification,” said Human Resources Manager, Susan van Unen.
“If you have a great attitude and are ready to learn and grow with us, we'd love to hear from you.”
According to KF, there are more than 100 new positions and Okanagan College as well as Mohawk College will be on-site to introduce prospective students to training programs.
Those pursuing other professional avenues will be able to meet with KF’s Corporate Services Team during the open house.
Plans for a new 50,000 square feet "state-of-the-art” aerospace exhibition hall and conference were also recently announced.
The $25-million project will sit across the runway from YLW's terminals and include a museum, conference suites, classrooms, airfield viewing gallery and more.
