The weekend brought a larger-than-normal number of new cases of COVID-19 for Interior Health.
The health authority recorded 21 new cases of the virus over the three-day reporting period, an average of seven per day.
It brings the total number of cases in the BC Interior since the start of the pandemic over the 600 mark to 611.
Currently, there are 36 active cases with two people in hospital, one of them in intensive care.
Interior Health has two active outbreaks at the moment.
One is at a FedEx depot at the Kelowna International Airport, while the other is at the Tim Hortons in Merritt, which remains closed at this time.
