There’s a possibility of snowfall in the Okanagan Valley today

It’s not looking like the Okanagan Valley will be seeing much in the way of spring weather today.

Environment Canada has issued a weather statement for potential localized heavy snowfall today and tonight.

A low pressure system will spread precipitation across southern BC today. As the low approaches, the atmosphere will become increasingly unsettled and there is the potential for bands of heavier snow to develop.

The heavy bands of snow are most likely to occur this afternoon and this evening and amounts will vary considerably between locations.

There is also a statement in place for the Coquihalla today because of potential snowfall. Click here for more details.
