Today is yet again not the best day to travel on the Coquihalla.
Environment Canada has put a snowfall warning in effect between Hope and Merritt. Periods of snow throughout the day are expected to bring up to 10 cm of snow.
Tonight is expected to see scattered flurries before things clear up slightly on Monday with a mix of sun and cloud and some possible flurries in the afternoon.
Due to current forecast of mod snowfall, Snowshed protocol will be implemented midnight tonight on #BCHwy5. Expected to remain in place till late afternoon Sunday. Agencies gearing up.

Things are looking better from Merritt to Kamloops, with snow ending this morning, amounting to about 2 cm.
