There’s a high chance of thunderstorms in Kelowna to start the week.

Environment Canada said there could also be as much as 10 millimetres of rainfall today.

Monday is expected to start with some sunny spells among the clouds, but by mid-morning the showers are due to begin.

They have a high chance – above 70 per cent – of persisting right through till midnight, Environment Canada said.

The temperature high today is forecast to be about 20ºC.

Overnight, we can expect an overcast sky and a low of about 13ºC.
