Enjoy the sunshine while you can today, rain is on the way into the valley

The Okanagan has been treated to some fantastic, summer like weather over the last week.

However, all good things must come to an end, and that is what is set to happen over the next few days.

You’ve still got a beautiful Tuesday to enjoy, but the rain and cooler temperatures will both come back into play this evening and last for a couple of days.

"Morning sun to start, but then we will see increasing cloud by the end of the day when a system moves onshore,” explains Wesla English, NowMedia meteorologist. “This switch to a southwesterly flow will also likely bring us a few showers by Tuesday night and into Wednesday.”

“Although it will be another warm day today in the low to mid 20s, daytime highs will also be at least several degrees cooler Wednesday.”

So get out there and enjoy the weather again today and know that you’ll have the next couple of days to catch up on some chores around the house!
