The oldest records to fall were in Vernon and Kamloops as the two communities surpassed previous highs that were recorded in 1910.

In Vernon, the area reached a high of 30.8℃ on Saturday, while the Kamloops area recorded a high of 30.3℃, 0.3℃ warmer than the previous benchmark.

Back in the Okanagan, Kelowna passed the previous record of 29.1℃ from 2012 with 29.8℃.

Summerland and Penticton both eclipsed records of 28.9℃ from 1938 with highs of 30.2℃ and 29.3℃, respectively.
