Flurry of fires ignite South Okanagan

The South Okanagan is experiencing sudden and rapid fires appearing across several locations.

Including the fires currently being reported on near Big White and Rattle Snake Island, social media has caught fires erupting across other locations in the Southern Okanagan.

Smoke and wildfires. We had a very brief thunderstorm (only 10-15 minutes) and several of the strikes caused fires. Most seem pretty minor but one up the ridge from Summerland grew very quickly.
