Looking for a great excuse to fly to Vegas for the weekend?
Sin City is never easy on the wallet, but thanks to WestJet’s new low-cost airline, Swoop, a trip to Vegas might just be in the cards this year.
On Tuesday, Swoop announced a new service between Kelowna and Las Vegas starting on June 27.
The direct, non-stop flights will be available twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays from the Kelowna International Airport to the McCarran International Airport in Vegas.
The service will last through to Oct. 26.
"We're pleased to have Swoop offer non-stop service to Las Vegas, which is the Okanagan's single largest U.S. market for travel," said Sam Samaddar, Kelowna airport director.
