The world has slowly been coming out from various airlines about flights where passengers may have been exposed to COVID-19.
However, with data coming from so many different sources, it's not easy to keep track of it all and it becomes possible to miss critical information.
To make things easier, the Government of Canada has launched a website that has a searchable database of all planes, cruise ships, trains and mass gatherings were people could have been exposed to COVID-19.
“You may be at risk of COVID-19 exposure if you have recently travelled or attended a public gathering where cases have been confirmed,” the website says.
“Being aware of your exposure risk can help you take the necessary steps to protect your health and the health of others around you.”
The database of flights has all the information you could need, including airline, flight number, cities, date and the affected rows if they’re known.
As of today, the latest information is from a flight from Toronto to London on March 23, so it looks as though it typically takes a week for the information to become available and updated.
Information on the site is gathered through reports received from provincial and territorial health authorities, international health authorities and public websites.
