A male has been airlifted to Kelowna General Hospital after a skiing accident occurred at Apex Mountain Resort in Penticton.
"The guy had a fall. He had a bit of a puncture wound," said James Shalman, manager of Apex Mountain Resort.
On Sunday, the male was flown to Kelowna General Hospital to treat the puncture wound located in his mid area.
According to Shalman, the mountain just received 40 centimetres of snow, so the mountain is well-covered in most areas.
