The calendar clearly reads April, but old man winter will be around BC's mountain passes for at least one more weekend.
On Thursday, Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning for the Coquihalla Highway.
Up to 20 cm is expected throughout the day as an active frontal system blows down from the BC coast.
“With an ideal southwesterly flow, ample moisture and relatively low snow levels, the Coquihalla Summit is expected to get snow, heavy at times, starting mid Friday morning and continuing into Friday night,” reads Environment Canada’s warning.
That weather front could also bring some snow to the BC Interior, with up to 4 cm expected for the Okanagan Connector.
