(Original story: Nov. 28 @ 10:40 am) - For the second time in less than 12 hours, the Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy 1) has shut down near Field.
DriveBC says the major route has been shut down near the BC-Alberta border due to a “vehicle incident.”

No further details were provided on the incident, but DriveBC doesn’t expect another update until 1 pm.
Hwy 1 had previously shut down in the same area late Wednesday night due to a separate incident, but it reopened around 1 am.
DriveBC webcams show wintry driving conditions and a long line of traffic building up on the highway near Field.
