(Original story: June 5 @ 5:55 am) - Hwy 1 remains closed in both directions after a rockslide in Sicamous.
DriveBC first reported the closure in the early hours of this morning.
The slide occurred between Old Sicamous Road and Solsqua-Sicamous Road, at Bruhn Bridge.

A geotechnical investigation is now under way, according to DriveBC.
Drivers are urged to seek an alternative route via Hwy 97A and 97B.
The next update from DriveBC – which is run by the Ministry of Transportation – is expected at 2 pm today.
