Would you choose the luxury family home in Kelowna's tony Upper Mission or the elegant penthouse condominium at Predator Ridge Golf Resort near Vernon?
Those are the two grand prize home options in the Okanagan that are part of the 2024 Dream Lottery benefitting BC Children's Hospital.
This year's lottery has assembled a stunning portfolio of nine grand prize home package options throughout the province.
The lottery's grand prize winner, to be drawn in October, can pick one of the home packages or $2.5 million in cash.
Trailhead at the Ponds
This grand prize home package is worth a dizzying $2.6 million.
The home itself is the showhome at 1137 Collinson Court in the Trailhead at the Ponds neighbourhood in Kelowna's Upper Mission.
The 3,043-square-foot contemporary has three bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms in the main part of the house with a separate one-bedroom, one-bathroom legal suite.
Since it's a showhome, you can have a look at it Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays, noon to 5 pm.
Since this is a prize 'package' the home comes with toys and extras.
They include a 2024 Audi Q$ e-tron Sportback SUV in the driveway, a 2024 Crownline 200SS speedboat to get out on the water, $50,000 in home furnishings, $15,000 for vacations from Travel Best Bets, gas and groceries for a year (in the form of a $15,000 Save-On Foods gift card and $10,000 Esso gift card), $8,000 gift card to Mountain Equipment Co-op and $675,000 cash.
The Vista
This grand prize home package is also worth an eye-watering $2.6 million.
The home itself is No. 307 -- the penthouse -- in the new Vista condominium complex at Predator Ridge Golf Resort near Vernon.
The 1,179-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and views over the golf course.
It has two parking stalls and a golf cart parking stall in the building.
You'll need that golf cart parking place because this prize package includes a 2024 electric lithium-powered golf cart.
And you can drive that golf cart around Predator Ridge Golf Course, which you will have membership for two for five years, including the initiation fee, plus a Predator pro shop gift card.
In one of the regular parking spots you can keep the sleek 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT SUV that's also part of the prize package.
In addition, the prize package includes $75,000 for home furnishings, $100,000 in trips from Travel Best Bets, gas and groceries for a year (via a $15,000 gift card from Save-On Foods and $10,000 gift card from Esso) and $1 million in cash.
The other grand prize home packages on offer are in South Surrey, Vancouver, Sooke, Langley, Courtenay, Maple Ridge and Burnaby.
