On June 27, 2025, three youths at Whistler Mountain Bike Park were confronted by an adult male while biking in the park.

The incident was captured on a helmet camera and posted to social media, where it has since gathered nearly 350,000 views on Instagram.

The video shows much of the confrontation, including the adult male grabbing and throwing one of the youth's bikes off a bridge feature.

“Our RCMP investigators are continuing to gather the facts of what occurred,” said Cpl. Katrina Boehmer.

“We know that this type of behaviour is not tolerated by our Whistler Blackcomb partners and we will continue to support them in ensuring the safety and well-being of all users of the Whistler Mountain Bike Park.”

The RCMP added in their statement that the adult male was arrested and released on conditions with a future court date.

Anyone who witnessed the event and has not yet spoken to an investigator is asked to call (604) 932-3044.
