Police explained in a bulletin: “He left shortly before 1:30 pm for a meeting with his parole officer, but didn’t show up for the meeting and is now wanted Canada-wide.”

The department provided the following description of Walkus:

  • Heavy build

  • Short black hair

  • Brown eyes

  • “Johnny Cash” tattooed on right forearm

  • Last seen wearing blue T-shirt, grey pants, dark shoes

Anyone that spots Walkus is urged by police to call 911 “immediately.”
