Luxury Kelowna home and $1.5M in cash among prizes in hospital lottery

A luxury Kelowna home in the hills is one of the prizes in a lottery designed to raise funds for the province’s biggest hospital.

The three-bedroom Upper Mission home, which is in the Kestrel Ridge development, offers views of Okanagan Lake and comes furnished.

It also comes as part of a winner’s package worth $2.9 million, which includes a 2020 Tesla Model X Long Range, 2020 BMW x5 xDrive40i and $1.5 million in cash.

But tickets for the Millionaire Lottery – which supports VGH and UBC Hospital Foundation – don’t come cheap.

Two tickets cost $100, five cost $175 and 10 are going for $250.

Those who are particularly keen on boosting their chances of victory can get 25 tickets for $500.

The money raised through ticket sales will go towards research, adult health care, critical medical equipment and more.

The winner of the Millionaire Lottery can choose one of eight grand prize packages:
