Police in BC have arrested two teens in a drug trafficking investigation.

According to police, a 16 and 17-year-old from Saanich were arrested following an investigation into drug trafficking to other youths in group homes and detox centre in the region.

The Saanich Police Department’s Street Crime Unit (SCU) began an investigation into the allegations on April 29, 2025.

On May 6, 2025, with the assistance of the Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team (GVERT), SCU officers arrested the two teen boys.

At the time of their arrest, they were in possession of about 17 grams of suspected fentanyl, some of which was pre-bagged for individual sales, about three grams of suspected methamphetamine and about 27 grams of cannabis.

Investigators are recommending charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking to the Crown.
