Prince George RCMP arrest man after he broke into the same business multiple times

A Prince George man is facing charges after breaking into the same business twice, which is also the same business he's been previously convicted for breaking into.

According to police, at 1:45 a.m. last Thursday, police received a report of a break and enter to a business on the 1400 block of Patricia Boulevard. Officers attended and found a smashed window, though the suspect was not located.

Just before 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, police received another report from a member of the public, this time telling them another break and enter was occurring at the same business. Clayton Tyler Moll, a 38-year-old Prince George resident, was located and arrested nearby.

Through evidence gathered at both scenes, investigators found that Moll was responsible for both incidents. On July 3rd, the BC Prosecution Service approved the following charges against Moll:

  • Break, enter & theft (2 counts).
  • Theft under $5000 (2 counts).
  • Fail to comply with probation (3 counts).
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.

Moll was held in custody and will make his next court appearance on July 10th. He was convicted earlier this year of a break and enter at the same business and served a jail sentence of 122 days.

Anyone with information on these incidents is asked to contact Prince George RCMP at (250)561-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
