VIDEO: Okanagan patio furniture thief caught on camera

Police in Penticton are asking for the public’s help to identify a woman filmed stealing furniture from a patio in the early hours of Saturday morning.

According to police, the theft occurred at approximately 2:22 am on Nov. 1, in the 260 block of Bassett Street.

“A woman was captured on video entering the front veranda of a home several times, where she stole a small patio table and chair,” wrote the RCMP.

“The suspect is described as a female wearing a black leather jacket with a brown stripe across the back and chest, a white hoodie, white pants, white shoes and carrying a large black purse.”

The stolen items include a rattan-style patio chair with white cushions and a small matching rattan coffee table.

Anyone who recognizes the woman or has seen the items is asked to call the Penticton RCMP at 250-492-4300.
