A small wildfire broke out neat Apex Mountain resort on Thursday.
According to BC Wildfire Service, the blaze only reached about one hectare in size before crews were able to suppress it.
Officials expect that the fire was human-caused, but it remains under investigation.
There are currently eleven wildfires burning across BC, nine of which are in the Kamloops Fire Centre.
Earlier this week, a large wildfire burning east of Merritt reached a size of 839 hectares, making it the largest fire in the region this year.
However, BC Wildfire now reports the blaze is being held.
