Safe stolen from Penticton Community Centre during overnight break-in

Police are investigating an overnight break-in at the Penticton Community Centre.

According to the Penticton RCMP, it was reported on Saturday after taking place after closing time on Friday night.

A small, grey safe, which contained cash and keys, was stolen.

It’s unknown whether it was a lone suspect or multiple people responsible.

“Investigators are seeking assistance from anyone in the vicinity of Power Street who may have witnessed anything or anyone suspicious on the Community Centre property overnight,” police said.
