Penticton’s downtown community market is preparing for the launch of the 2025 season.
Starting Saturday, the 200-block of Main Street and Front Street and Backstreet Boulevard will be transformed into a vibrant and bustling market full of locally made goods.
A dedicated cafe-style space on Front Street is a new addition this year.
Local restaurants will provide outdoor seating and snacks.
The market will run every Saturday from 8:30 am until 1:30 pm until Sept. 6.
This year’s market features a lineup of both new and returning vendors showcasing a huge selection of jewelry, pottery, fashion apparel, novelty items, and much more.
“We’re especially excited about this year’s new addition on Front Street, where we’re creating a relaxed, café-style atmosphere in partnership with local restaurants,” said Brett Turner, executive director of the Downtown Penticton BIA.
“It’s the perfect place to sit back, enjoy great food, and take in live music from talented local musicians every other week. It’s another way we’re enriching the market experience and celebrating the vibrant culture of our community.”
The market will also feature live music from local performers each week at the corner of Main and Front Street.
Every second week of the market will include live performances in the Front Street cafe area.
