Penticton accepting busking applications for the 2025 season

If you’re looking to showcase your musical talents in the bustling streets of Penticton this tourist season, now is the time to send in your busking application.

Penticton’s Buskers Program is now accepting applications for the 2025 season.

The program runs from May 15 to October 15, with performances between the hours of 10 am and 8 pm.

Busking activities can include anything from playing an instrument(s), singing, miming, clowning, being a living statue, comedy, magic and more.

Designated busking areas are identified by ‘Busk Stop’ signs located throughout downtown:

  • 1099 Lakeshore Dr. W (at S.S. Sicamous)
  • Lakeshore Dr. at Power St.
  • Lakeshore Dr. at Winnipeg St.
  • Main St. at Lakeshore Dr.
  • Nanaimo Ave. at Main St.
  • 300 Block Main St.
