Four people and several firearms were seized earlier this month during a drug-related search warrant, say the Penticton RCMP.
On Oct. 16, RCMP officers executed the warrant at a house on Government Street after a “month’s long investigation into illegal activity.”
A news released says officers located and seized suspected illegal drugs, firearms and Canadian currency.
“This enforcement action, supported by all members of the Penticton Detachment, is expected to have a significant impact and the removal of crime weapons enhances public safety,” says S/Sgt. Scott Hanry, General Investigative Section Commander.
There was no mention of potential charges or what happened to the four people who were arrested, however.
