UPDATE: Missing woman found dead, Penticton RCMP says

(UPDATE: July 9 @ 1:15 pm) - The search for Shy-Anne Kruger has come to a tragic end.

The Penticton RCMP says the 37-year-old woman, who was reported missing on June 6, has been found dead.

"The RCMP can confirm there is no criminality involved and the case has been turned over to the BC Coroners Service," said a release.

Police offered their condolences to Kruger's family and friends.


(Original story: June 7 @ 4:45 pm) - The Penticton RCMP is seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing female.

Shy-Anne Kruger was last seen on May 18, 2024, and reported missing on June 6.

Kruger was last seen wearing a black halter top and black skirt and is described as:

  • First Nations female
  • 37 years old
  • 5’05 (165cm)
  • 165 lbs (75 kg)
  • Black hair
  • Brown eyes

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Kruger is urged to contact their local police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
