The Penticton RCMP say they have arrested an outstanding suspect involved in a shooting earlier this month.
On Mar. 6, police responded to reports of a shooting on the 200-block of Maple Street.
One suspect was taken into custody immediately after the incident.
Two other suspects were later identified but were not located at that time.
A news release says the investigation led police to a house on Government Street.
On Wednesday, Mar. 12 around 5:50 pm, Penticton RCMP and the Southeast District Emergency Response Team executed a warrant at the house.
One of the outstanding suspects was arrested without incident.
At the same time, officers attended another location in the city and arrested the third suspect, the police said.
The news release said that firearms were found and seized as well.
“All believed to be responsible for this shooting have now been identified and charges are pending,” the news release said. “Exceptional police work has led to the safe arrests of three offenders.”
