The Penticton Farmers’ Market is returning for another season of supporting local farmers and artisans.
The 2025 season launches with two indoor spring markets at Cherry Lane Shopping Centre on Saturday April 5 and April 12 from 9:20 am to 3 pm.
Cherry Lane Shopping Centre is also celebrating its 50th anniversary.
Organizers say supporting local is more important than ever with the ongoing tariff pressure from the US and the farmers’ market can provide a direct link between consumers and all the local farmers, producers and craftspeople.
“Now more than ever, shopping at the Penticton Farmers’ Market is an act of resilience,” says Philip Solman, AssistantMarket Manager.
“By supporting local farmers and businesses, shoppers are not only getting the best produce and highest quality artisanal goods, but they’re also strengthening our local economy and protecting Canadian food sovereignty.”
The two spring markets will include local eggs and beef, dried fruits, juices and other items made from locally grown produce, honey, mushrooms, sourdough breads, baked treats, local ciders, spirits, tea and so much more.
Plus, anyone who visits the markets can enter a free draw for a chance to win a goodie bag from vendors.
