The Penticton Farmers’ Market is set to return to the downtown area this weekend.
Starting Saturday, residents can expect to see an increase in foot traffic downtown, including a temporary road closure on 100-block of Main Street, north of Westminster Avenue.
The road closure will be in effect every Saturday from 6 am to 2 pm.
People driving throughout the downtown area are asked to slow down, watch for signage and prepare for extra congestion.
The market will be happening every Saturday from 8:30 am until 1 pm until Oct. 26.
To really kick off the outdoor-spring season, two other events will be happening at Gyro Park, including a volunteer appreciation breakfast plus the annual Earth Day celebration.
