BC Transit is reminding people who rely on bus service that there are some slight changes to service schedules over the holidays.
From Dec. 25 to Jan. 2, there will be a mix of weekend-level service, limited service and regular service.
So, for those who use Penticton's transit system to get to work, or plan on taking a bus to get home from a holiday gathering or Boxing Day shopping, here is how the holidays will affect bus schedules across the city.
On Wednesday, Dec. 25, there will be no bus service in Penticton.
On Thursday, Dec. 26, 5 Main Street and 16 Lake to Lake will be running on Sunday service but there will be no service for all other routes.
Buses will be following a regular service on Tuesday, Dec. 31 with extended late-night service.

From Dec. 27 to Dec. 30, schedules will be normal for weekdays and weekends.
On Wednesday, Jan. 1, buses will be running on Sunday service for Penticton local routes.
There will be no service for all other routes and handDART in the South Okanagan Similkameen transit area.
Everything returns to normal on Tuesday, Jan. 2.
