The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) is advising residents of the South Okanagan of several facility closures happening over the Easter long weekend.
The RDOS main office, on Martin Street in Penticton, the Okanagan Falls Community Services building and the RDOS Building Inspection Office in Princeton will be closed Friday and Monday.
The City of Penticton will also see closures at city hall, city yards, the Penticton Museum & Archives and the Penticton Public Library on Mar. 29 and April 1.
The Penticton Community Centre will be open between 10 am and 3 pm all weekend, starting on Friday.
A release from the RDOS says the Campbell Mountain landfill will remain open during regular hours for the entire weekend.
All other RDOS landfills in Keremeos, Okanagan Falls and Oliver will be closed on Friday.
The Similkameen Recreation Centre office will be closed Friday and Monday, however, the recreation centre will be open for pass-holders.
Okanagan Falls’ recreation centre will also be closed on Mar. 29 and April 1.
All facilities will resume regular hours and operations on Tuesday, April 2.
