Residents of Penticton are being advised about paving work happening this week, which will cause a full road closure.
Three closures will be happening this week to allow for the work, a news release says.
According to the city, Ellis Street will be closed starting at 6 am for paving work.
The closure is happening between Nanaimo Street and Ellis Street Bridge.
The road will be closed until the paving is complete, the city says in a news release.
Additionally, Munson Mountain Road will be fully closed on Thursday as crews pave the way up to the parking lot.
More paving will be happening at the “hairpin corner” on Carmi Avenue on Friday.
People are advised to follow detours in the area and keep an eye out for traffic control personnel.
The city recommends residents give themselves extra time to make it to their destinations if they use these routes.
