On August 23, 2020, Penticton RCMP responded to a report of a disturbance at a restaurant in the 1000-block of Westminster Avenue West, where a seemingly intoxicated male suspect was reportedly obstructing traffic, throwing items, screaming and allegedly trying to fight passersby.

Officers responded to the scene and recognized the man as the suspect from an incident involving an alleged assault with a weapon and break and enter on Aug 18.

Police say the man turned assaultive towards officers when they attempted to arrest him.

He then fled and was eventually taken into police custody following a short foot pursuit.

He continued to be resistant during his arrest and allegedly spit on one of the arresting officers.

Then, on August 25, police responded to a report of an assault just committed at a Kaledan area park.

Responding officers found an off-duty RCMP officer and a bystander restraining the suspect who had allegedly assaulted two youths.

Criminal charges have since been approved by the BC Prosecution Service against Lamb in each of these cases.

On Sept. 10, Lamb was released from custody on a Release Order with several court imposed conditions.

On Sept. 15, Lamb was found to be breaching several of his Release Order conditions. He was subsequently re-arrested in Penticton.

He has since been remanded back into custody.
