Skip living like a millionaire -- go straight to living like a multi-millionaire.
That's the lure of the just-kicked-off 2023 Millionaire Lottery, which includes two Okanagan grand-prize options -- each worth over $2.9 million.
We're talking stylish lakefront villas, luxury cars in the driveway, a speedboat at the dock, cash for furniture and travel and money to stash away in the bank.
The grand-prize winner of the lottery has their choice of one of 10 grand-prize packages that includes a beautiful, new home with all the toys in West Kelowna, Lake Country, Vancouver, South Surrey, Burnaby, Richmond, Langley, Courtenay or Sooke.
Lottery tickets went on sale today and will be available until Jan. 11 or until they sell out.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.millionairelottery.com, toll-free by phone at 1-888-445-5825 or in-person at any London Drugs for 2 for $100, 5 for $175, 10 for $300 or 25 for $600.
Before the grand-prize draw in January, there will be giveaways of 50/50 prizes of up to $1.2 million, Daily Cash Plus payouts, early-bird draws and an early-bird prize of either an all-electric 2023 Audi e-tron GT, private-jet travel experience or $125,000 in cash.
The first Okanagan grand-prize option is called 'West Kelowna' and includes a three-bedroom, five-bathroom, 2,511-square-foot, three-level villa with rooftop terrace at The Waterfront at Westrich Bay, the beachside gated community at 1 Old Ferry Road.
The 'West Kelowna' package also includes a 2023 BMW iX Electric SUV and $15,000 cash to put in an electric-vehicle charger at your villa, a 2023 Crownline 200SS speedboat and $200,000 cash.
It's a prize package worth over $2.9 million, just as the other option in Lake Country is.
The 'Lake Country' prize includes a three-bedroom, three-bathroom, 3,019-square-foot townhouse at Lake Country Villas in the Lakestone community.
In addition, there's also $50,000 to buy furniture, a $50,000 Travel Best Bets gift card, 2023 BMW iX Electric, 2023 Hyundai Palisade SUV and $950,000 in cash.
Proceeds of the 2023 Millionaire Lottery supports VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation.
Money goes into research, specialized adult health care and buying critical medical equipment at VGH, UBC Hospital, GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre, Vancouver Community Health Services and Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute -- all facilities that benefit adult patients across the province with trauma treatment and specialized surgery and care.
