April and Easter are just around the corner and the District of Lake will be hosting family friendly events over the long weekend.
The annual Easter Egg Hunt will be returning to Jack Seaton Park on Friday, April 7.
The family-friendly event kicks off at noon, however, registration opens at 10 am.
Residents are reminded to bring a bit of cash to score a hot dog provided by the Lions Club.
Families can sign up for games, prizes, enjoy a fire display which will see local fire trucks and fire fighting equipment on site to chat with and more.
“Remember to leave the fur children at home because this is the kind of noisy, children running everywhere, lots of crazy fun event that stresses pups out,” says the District in a statement.
Volunteers are always welcome, adds the district. Responsibilities would include setting up tables, taking down tents, running the events.
If you’d like to help out with the event, feel free to email Melissa at msbrega@lakecountry.bc.ca.
