Get ready Stranger Things fans because Calpurnia is coming

It sure helps to have a mega-famous actor in the band, but Calpurnia sure as heck don’t need one.

The teenage quartet, which features Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard, is preparing for their upcoming Vancouver concert and even fans stuck in the “Upside Down” are excited.

Calpurnia’s Vancouver show will be extra special for two reasons; all four band members hail from the Lower Mainland and the group’s new EP Scout has received plenty of critical acclaim.

A smooth blend of indie-pop with post-punk tendencies, the record’s sound is equally influenced by unique guitar licks and catchy choruses that are sure to be shouted during every show.

The most notable of those shows for B.C. residents will be at Vancouver’s Vogue Theatre on Dec. 21!
