With the NHL playoffs set to begin this weekend, the league’s draft is just around the corner – and several BCHL players are on the radars of professional scouts.
The NHL Central Scouting released its final rankings of the 2025 entry draft earlier this week and eight current, future and graduated BCHL players are on the list.
The highest-ranked BCHL player is Kale Dach of the Sherwood Park Crusaders. The forward is 136th overall among North American skaters.
Other current ranked players include Jeremy Loranger (#149), Poul Andersen (#151) and Max Heise #(209).
West Kelowna Warrior Bor Glavič is ranked 22nd overall among North American netminders.
Alongside the handful of current players to make the final rankings, two graduated and one future player were also mentioned.
Former Penticton Vee Francesco Dell’Elce is 82nd overall and former Victoria Grizzlies defenceman Drew Hockley is 189th among North American skaters.
Samuel Doyon-Cataquiz, a Sherwood Park Crusaders commit, is ranked 32nd overall among North American goalies.
