With just one week to go until the highly-anticipated return of Rock The Lake to downtown Kelowna, there’s been a rather significant lineup change.
Unfortunately, headliner Brian Wilson has cancelled all tour dates, including his appearance at Rock The Lake, due to health reasons.
“Brian is bummed to miss this show, but looks forward to seeing his fans on the road again," said Wilson’s management team in a statement released this morning.
Rock The Lake organizers quickly jumped into action to replace him, however, and secured Nazareth to take his headlining spot in the lineup.
The 54-year-old Scottish hard rock band will now have the honours of finishing up the weekend with a set Sunday night.
Nazareth joins a stacked lineup of bands that will perform in the Prospera Place parking lot next weekend.
Other notable names include A Flock of Seagulls, The Tea Party, Moist, Trooper, Chilliwack, The Motels, Eve 6, Bif Naked and Five Man Electrical Band.
There are still tickets available and they will set you back $195 for a three-day pass and $79.95 if you just want to go to one specific day.
