The Kamloops RCMP is looking for suspects after receiving multiple reports of shots fired at 2:28 am on March 24 in the 800-block of Battle Street.
Upon arrival, investigators discovered an insecure residence along with signs that at least one firearm had been discharged.
One man was taken to a local area hospital with serious undisclosed injuries, according to police.
No one else was located with any injuries.
“While the investigation is in its infancy, some of the persons involved are known to police and early indications suggest that this is an isolated incident,” said staff Sgt. Troy Durand, acting operations support officer for the Kamloops RCMP.
