The 4th annual Kamloops International Buskers Festival is set to return to a newly renovated Riverside Park at the end of July.
The free, all ages festival will include a mix of local talent and six professional performers from the US and Australia.
Residents can expect to see a wide range of dancers, musicians, jugglers, artists, acrobatics and more throughout the four day event.
Organizers are now accepting applications for the local artist/artisan village, food vendors and busk stop/roving performers. Applications can be found online at kamloopsbuskers.com.
“We are looking forward to filling the park with amazing talent and entertainment for the weekend and are putting the call out to our local/regional performers,” say organizers.
“We are looking for everything from balloon twisters, to roving magicians, caricaturists, spray paint artists, musicians, and more.”
The KIBF will once again be offering annual memberships to the Kamloops Arts Council for any local performers/artists who sign up to attend. Information can be found on the busk stop application.
The family-fun event will take place in Riverside Park from July 27 to July 30.
