Recreation Penticton has teamed up with Urban Rec Okanagan to provide more recreational sport options in the South Okanagan for adults aged 19 and up.
The collaboration will be an opportunity for both teams and individuals to participate in competitive sport, while making newfound connections.
"With so many adults looking for a way to not only be active and healthy but wanting to make true connections, we know that this new offering will be extremely popular as it is in Kelowna," said managing partner and founder of Urban Rec Okanagan Jamie Taverner.
After a successful outdoor season from April to August, the group now has indoor sports available for individuals and teams to join for fall.
Sports include indoor coed six's volleyball, coed multi-sport and coed five-a-side soccer. The leagues empathize fun, community and sportsmanship.
