Woodstock unveils incredible 50th anniversary lineup

The wait is finally over and Woodstock has dropped its 2019 lineup.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic 1969 festival, Woodstock is returning for three days of music in Watkins Glen State Park in New York this summer.

It’ll take place between Aug. 16-18 and the lineup for the highly anticipated reboot was just released today.

Expectations were high for the lineup, but the festival has certainly delivered a stacked list of names.

On Friday, acts like The Killers, Miley Cyrus, The Lumineers, The Raconteurs, Robert Plant, John Fogerty, Run The Jewels and Bishop Briggs promise a memorable opening day.

Santana will also play on Friday, 50 years after playing an eight-song set at the original Woodstock as a relatively unknown artist.

There will be no time to rest on Saturday, as Dead & Company, Chance The Rapper, The Black Keys, Sturgill Simpson, Greta Van Fleet, Leon Bridges, Gary Clark Jr. and many more take the stage.

The festival will then close out on Sunday with acts like JAY-Z, Imagine Dragons, Cage The Elephant, Halsey, Janelle Monáe, Young The Giant, Common, Vince Staples and more.

More than half a century after co-founding the original Woodstock, Michael Lang has certainly delivered on his promise for an epic 50th anniversary.

Ticket information is still to come, but you can register on the Woodstock website to be the first in the know when new information comes down the pipe.
