Perry passed away surrounded by family at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank on March 4 after suffering a severe stroke five days earlier while at home.
He was rushed to hospital where doctors sedated the 52-year-old, hoping to give his brain a chance to recover, but the damage was too extensive in the end.
Perry was best known for playing Dylan McKay on the hit T.V. series ‘Beverly Hills, 90201, a role he had for 10 years.
He was thrust back into the spotlight in recent years thanks to his role as Fred Andrews, Archie Andrews’ father, in the CW series ‘Riverdale.’
Riverdale still has three more Season 3 episodes to air after this week, wrapping up with a May 15 finale.
