Olivia Rodrigo announces world tour with a Friday night stop in BC next summer

One of the biggest popstars in the world will be coming to British Columbia next summer.

Olivia Rodrigo announced a massive world tour this morning that will take her through North American and Europe over several months in 2024.

The GUTS world tour begins and ends in California, with a stop at Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Friday, Aug. 9, 2024.

The 20-year-old’s support for her Vancouver show will be PinkPantheress.

Rodrigo will be touring in support of her second studio album, GUTS, which was released last week and follows up her debut album SOUR, which went four times platinum.

“All over Guts, she’s so witty, so pissed off, so angsty at the same time, the way only a rock star can be,” Rolling Stone says of the record. “And this is the album of a truly brilliant rock star.”

While it has only been out a few days, there’s every indication that her second album will have a similar level of popularity as her first, which earned her three Grammy awards.

As is the case for many shows these days, fans wanting tickets for Rodrigo’s 57-date tour will need to pre-register for access, which you can do through this link before Sunday, Sept. 17, at 10 pm ET.

Once registration closes, fans will be randomly selected to receive a code that grants them access to sales on Wednesday, Sept. 20, and Thursday, Sept. 21.
