If you’re looking to attend a music festival this summer but want a more low-key experience, the Kaslo Jazz Etc Festival could be the perfect place for you.
The three-day event in beautiful Kaslo Bay Park is set for the August long weekend and organizers unveiled the lineup for its 31st annual edition this summer.
This year’s lineup features names like Bahamas, Shred Kelly, Trevor Hall, Jon and Roy, Moontricks, The Cat Empire, Fruition, The Infamous Stringdusters and plenty more.
The Kaslo Jazz Etc Festival aims to showcase an array of blues, jazz, Latin, folk and world music, using the natural acoustics of Kaslo Bay Park.
“Our unique floating stage transforms Kaslo Bay Park into a natural green amphitheater and sends live music reverberating out over Kootenay Lake,” the festival website explains.
“All weekend long, world-class musicians perform against our breathtaking backdrop of mountains and sky.”
Tickets for the 2024 event are already half sold, so you won’t want to wait if you’re looking to secure your pass for the festival.
And if you’re looking to camp during the weekend, organizers say South Beach and Jazzlo Bay campgrounds are now on sale as well.
