Wrestling fans in British Columbia have plenty to be excited about in the coming months.
The WWE will be in Vancouver in January and now All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has announced a show in BC as well.
AEW: Collision will be live from Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Saturday, May 11.
It will be the wrestling company’s first trip to BC since being formed by Shahid and Tony Khan in 2019.
“We’re in a great position going into 2024, and I can’t wait to plant AEW’s flag in four new markets across Canada, and revisit some of the amazing cities we debuted in last summer,” Tony Khan said.
“Everyone at AEW is proud to continue paying homage to Canada’s rich wrestling heritage, and serving the great Canadian fans with massive shows across the country in the new year.”
Khan called 2023 a “banner year” for AEW internationally, fuelled by historic ticket sales, an event at Wembley Stadium in London and Canadian shows in Toronto and Calgary.
The Vancouver date in May is one of eight Canadian stops on AEW’s 2024 tour, which also includes Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, London, Toronto, Ottawa and Quebec City.
Tickets for all eight shows go on sale at 10 am on Friday, Dec. 10, through AEWTix.com.
